Playscape

Toddlers at the age of 1-5 years old had started to explore and be curious about the things around them. Even though they still can't fluently speak and their movement are still wobbly unstable, they have thoughts of their own and can express themselves by using movements or expressions.

The idea for this design was to use a maze as an idea to create a simple playscape structure where parents and toddlers can play along or play by themselves. Different obstacles were designated for toddlers to enable them to explore inside out of the structure by themselves. The goal of this design was to let toddlers break through the obstacles which help them learn and discover their hidden potential and thinking.
